I have always love shooting kids and its Adam’s 3rd birthday party! The Kids Gym located at the Great Eastern Mall is a great place for kids birthday party. The playing area is large enough for a jamboree session. I will go bananas if i was a kid! Adam is still the same adorable kid i shot photographed last year. His shy but hyper character makes it hard to capture him posed. Candid is the way to go! That always work for children photography, i guess. Lots of expats’ kids here and its been a pleasure! I guess i had my workout for the day.. Running around the gym for 2 hours really acquires good stamina. Thanks to my running routine! Here’s some candids of the angels..

This client booked me since last year (their wedding planner did actually!) I did not get the chance to get to know my client earlier until the actual day itself, and got to know their name a day before! Then i knew the photography was actually a wedding gift from the wedding planner to their client (whom are also a good friend of theirs!) In a way, it was a surprise! Ahh how i wished i have someone to sponsor my wedding photos! To Naha & Takuwin.. your wedding album is gonna be a surprise too to suit your wedding theme.. stay tuned!

I was dumbfounded to see the bridal setting by this young and new wedding planner in town. This is my second time working with the make up artist, zul from read zul creation and design. They are also representing the company as a wedding planner for the day. Looking from the small mediocre hall located in a middle of Cheras, I never expected to see such a grand setting and bridal dais. Simple, fresh but yet elegant. Feel free to checkout their portfolio and ask for rates. They are nice friendly people! and reasonable too!

The bride is a client and also a friend.. She’s always be the same bubbly Suhana a.k.a Skitt we’ve known. You and Jesro are one perfect match! They look so cute and adorable together! The day started with a simple casual solemnization of the love birds and a bond of two families. Skitt is from Seremban and Jesro brought his family down from Kelantan. A simple gathering of family, relatives and close friends was merry and festal. The father of the bride is very friendly and witty and not to forget.. loves the camera! And the camera loves him too!

16th May 2009 - Its been sometime since I did a private sector/semi-government events.  I traveled to Johor as an official photographer for Malakoff’s environment and community event. The mangrove plantation initiative was held at Tg Bin Power plantation in Johor.  Launched by Dato’ Hj Abdul Ghani, the MB of Johor, with few participating schools in the area of Mukim Serkat, Malakoff effort to raise public awareness to the conservation of mangroves in Malaysia.

The weather was bright and beautiful. Slightly sunny but best for such events.  A very interesting scene to capture to see so much faces with different levels of age and society but they teamed up for one purpose. I’m proud to be Malaysian!

she refused.. maybe she was shy or just not in a mood. I’ve been shooting kids for some time and the best thing to do when dealing with shy kids is just shoot away when she’s not looking no matter what mood she currently showing because kids are just beautiful no matter what they are. Being rumann, its ok honey, you don’t have to smile for me but i will still capture you because you are the princess of the day!

according to mommy rumann means buah delima. Oh no wonder!

22/03/09 – A good photographer buddy of mine welcomed his junior dil arsyad, about a month plus ago. I was honored to be given a chance to capture the memorable moment of their son’s aqiqah and cukur jambul in Kg Melekek, Alor Gajah. Looking good in their akad nikah’s deep red baju kurung and baju melayu, i can still see the glow in their face with the presence of their pride and joy. It takes three to tango, huh?
