She’s not a model.. but yet this lanky girl didn’t feel awkward posing for the camera. A well done make over by uwie (bob’s beautiful wife), dean transformed into someone people will glance twice. The weather wasn’t that good. We were crossing fingers hoping it won’t rain. It was pretty hot and bright at first.. but it turned dark and gloomy later. The lightning strikes once in a while but we were still shooting. It was a good one hour shoot even though dean was a bit stiff for the first few shots but she turned very natural after a while. It was pleasant working with her, bob, uwie and zack the lighting guy. stay tuned for scenes at location in my next post!

28th March 2008 - This was my first corporate client for company profile photoshoot assignment. Doing solo job on this assignment wasn’t easy at all. Did i mention heavy equipments.. tall lightstand that stood almost twice as higher as me. Gosh i need to work on my muscles. But it was a valuable experience. There’s always a first time for everything, right?

the younger generations in my family..

a visit to another newborn weeks back. A close friend ita just gave birth to her third child. oh, did i say third?? Anyway, iris is just as lovely as her sister and brother. congrats to ita and amir for their blessing child.. presenting their 3rd pride and joy.. iris!

16th March 2008 – I was given an honor once again by my previous client to shoot their newborn Zara Aliyah. As beautiful as her name.. Zara looks very much like her brother Jacob. To Nadra and Ben, you are blessed with beautiful children.. Shooting beautiful zara makes me wanna have my own! That beautiful sparkling eyes were always ready for the camera!

To Nadra & Ben, thanks for the invitation and the opportunity once again. To Zara, welcome to the world! To Jacob.. be good to your lil sister!

09th March 2008 - The journey took us more than we thought. We left KL before the birds even go out to search for food. Luckily the map was quite useful. We didn’t miss any junctions and managed to reach to client’s place right on time! 3 events in 1, majlis berzanji, akad nikah and bersanding was quite a celebration! The one thing i love about village wedding is how neighbors, relatives and friends work together. At one corner there’s pakciks and makciks chopping meat, cooking and stirring gulai kawah. Gosh it smells delicious! They are talking, laughing, making jokes and smiling.. kids running around with bunga manggar while the bride and groom is preparing before the big event. These are the scenes that i missed a lot and something we don’t get to see everyday. And I’m feeling honored to be given a chance to be apart of the team to witness this celebration of love.
